This lovely post and beam house is a show home in the recently opened FertighausWelt show home village in Guenzburg. Despite the large glazed areas, the optimal insulation and modern eco-technology guarantee outstanding energy performance.

The house has an air source heat pump, a controlled ventilation system with heat recovery, a photovoltaic array with energy storage, and a smart home system controlled from an iphone.

The show home village in Guenzburg is the fifth and most advanced show home village in Germany. The focus is on sustainable construction; visitors can see fully finished houses in timber off-site construction, get lots of ideas for sustainable homes – and have a great day out.

The whole complex – 17 show homes on 25,000 sq. metres – has been designed around a shared garden landscape with a lake and a playground – just like an idyllic village. The representatives of the BDF – Association of German Off-Site House Manufacturers – are available to advise you from Wednesdays to Sundays, from 11am to 6pm, in the welcoming reception building – which incidentally was also built by Meisterstueck-HAUS.
